Below are images from an early series titled Aunt Fern. Shortly after being the main caretaker for my father who passed away in 2010 from cancer, I once again was faced with a similar situation with my 92-year old Aunt Fern. This time around picking up my camera as a coping mechanism to help with the grief as well as documenting our time together and the process of preparing for death.
