Bonjour!

This past May Eddie and I spent our 6 year wedding anniversary exploring London and Paris. It was Eddie's first time traveling abroad and my first time in Paris. After our wedding we went on what we called a "mini-moon" to Palm Springs since we had to hold off on taking our actual honeymoon. With bated breath we finally made the journey. Here are some highlights from this magical trip!

pretty amazing about the new discoveries that were just unearthed of 15 previously unknown late Neolithic monuments at Stonehenge, which you can read about on the Smithsonian website

 We walked the gorgeous gothic halls of Westminster Abbey after lighting candles for our loved ones

Our first time visiting Notre Dame Cathedral was kind of an emotional one. With the help of this wonderful frenchman, Jean-Pierre, we rescued a pigeon that was literally being trampled and beaten up by some other pigeons. It was definitely one of our most memorable moments.

We didn't realize how elated we would be visiting the Eiffel Tower, we had such a romantic experience we returned several times

I am happy to share and exhibit my work this month. Here are a few shows I'm participating in.

One of my prints will be available for auction during The Los Angeles Center of Photography's Inaugural Print Auction being held Saturday, September 13th in Bel Air.

If you're in the New York area, I have four pieces on display thru September 11th at Agora Gallery for the Chelsea International Fine Art Competition Exhibition juried by Carlo McCormick.

On Friday, September 26th The Los Angeles Center of Photography presents the exhibition, Visual Mixtape | New Photography. I will be sharing several pieces from a series I've been working on since the beginning of 2013 which is near and dear to my heart. For more details, please visit the blog here

Critical Mass 2014 Finalist

The 2014 Critical Mass finalists were announced earlier this week and I am so incredibly honored to be included among so many talented photographers. My heart skipped a beat upon hearing the news and I said a little prayer of gratitude to my guardian angel, my mom.

Staurt Pilkington's Portrait Project 'The Swap'

Greetings!

My fabulous photographer friend Lori Pond and I participated in Stuart Pilkington's portrait project called 'The Swap'. Stuart asks two photographers to partner up and take each other's portrait. 

Recently Lori has undergone eye surgeries due to a detached retina which has been a frightening experience for her. I wanted to make a portrait of her that involved what she has been dealing with. She was so gracious and open to my idea. 

We had a blast photographing each other. I just love her portrait of me. Take a look here

LACP's First Annual Members’ Exhibition Juried by Paul Kopeikin

I am thrilled that Paul Kopeikin chose one of my images for the first annual members' exhibit at the Los Angeles Center of Photography. The exhibition will run July 12-August 11, 2014 with an opening reception on July 12th.
